E-mail counselling can be a great way of making space for yourself, writing down what is bothering you and beginning a conversation that can help to resolve the problem issues.
E-mail counselling is recommended if:
You have difficulties fitting appointments into your schedule You feel more comfortable when you can take your time and think about what you are communicating. You like to have responses from your counsellor documented so you can take your time and read them more than once. You are unsure that you are ready to talk to someone yet. Writing can be a good way to start when an issue is sensitive or difficult to talk about.
